An Experimentation Framework for Innovators with Jean Liedtka

Experimentation is an essential part of innovation. It is the link between generating new ideas and putting them into practice. Organizations place great value on testing new products, services, and strategies. Yet there is a shortage of actionable guidance on how to design and execute high-quality experiments for practical purposes.  In this Outthinker Intrapreneurs Network roundtable, Jeanne Liedtka will offer a hands-on manual for crafting and conducting useful experiments in real-life settings. Drawing from design thinking principles, she will outline a comprehensive framework with practical exercises for identifying testable ideas, selecting an evidence base, and prototyping and testing. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn invaluable methods for integrating experimentation into your strategic innovation process.  Speaker Bio  Jeanne Liedtka is the UTC Professor of Business at the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business. With interests at the intersection of strategy and design, Jeanne has written eight books and many articles on the subject of strategy, innovation, and design thinking, and consulted with a diverse set of organizations including IBM, Samsung, NASA, The United Nations, and the government of Singapore. Her forthcoming book on experimentation will be published in February, 2024.
