
Scaling an Innovative Business That Was Spun Out of an Established Business
Building upon the Change Logic framework discussed by Andy Binns at our Boston Roundtable, the challenge is that I’m looking for practical ways to scale and innovative portfolio-based business that was spun out of an established business. The obvious solution (as presented by Change Logic) is to leverage the established business to enable scale, but for a range of reasons that is not possible in this circumstance. Therefore, I’d welcome advice and “been there, done that” experience across organizational design and how to integrate different hiring profiles with the existing teams, and overall change management with regards to culture and phasing of the changes.
